FAQs
What about parking?
We have a 55 car parking lot available and additional field space. We provide a parking attendant in every package to ease any worries!
Who is responsible for setting up/taking down decor, tables, etc?
When you arrive on the property, we will have your requested number of tables and chairs ready for you! You and your crew will be responsible for putting the tables and chairs up. As for taking down, you get to leave the tables and chairs up right where they are. Your only responsibility then is for the items you bring and getting trash into trash bags for our staff to remove.
Are there decoration restrictions?
We want your vision to come to life and are willing to do whatever we can (that is safe + legal) to make it happen! We do ask that there be no open flame candles used in the barn and nothing used that would damage the barn wood such as tacks, nails or screws. As for the property, no decorations can be used that would damage the property and/or the wedding experience of other couples getting married on our property. If you’re not sure, ask! We are happy to help brainstorm how to make your ideas work!
Are there other lodging accommodations nearby for other guests?
Indeed. The Oxford Casino has a new hotel and across the street from that is the Hampton Inn, both which are fifteen minutes from our property. There are several inns, resorts and AirBnBs in the area as well.
What is the booking process?
When you tell us you’d like to host your wedding with us, we first do a happy dance in the kitchen! Then, we send over an online contract and invoice to secure your date! We request a 25% nonrefundable deposit towards your date. Once the contract is signed and deposit is made, it’s official - you’re getting married at King’s Hill!
What is the bathroom situation?
We built a new bath house in 2019 with its own brand new septic system. The bath house features two stalls, one that is a handicap accessible and one that requires one step up. These bathrooms are unisex. As of fall 2023, three indoor bathroom stalls have been added to the barn.
What is the barn capacity?
The max is 150 for a seated event in the barn with a dance floor. We can accommodate up to 200 person guest events for non seated events.
Can your fur kid come to the wedding?
Sure thing! They can come to the wedding or the whole weekend. Our entire property is pet friendly and we even have a little Dog Barn. We’ve had dogs, cats, horses and miniature horses visit us so far!
